Large Items

IFC is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization so your donation is eligible for tax deduction. And it's a great way to support the community. Please share the information on this page with your neighbors, family, friends, co-workers, faith organization, and on your social media.

  • IFC needs a washing machine.  Please contact Tom Bainbridge at tbainbridge@ifcmailbox.org with leads.
  • IFC needs a box truck/cargo van and a trailer.  Please contact Jeff Causey with leads at 919-929-6380 x12.


Community Market (Food Pantry) and Community Kitchen Needs

GIVING GUIDELINES:

  1. Food Pantry and Community Kitchen both accept food donations at 100 W. Rosemary Street Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm.
  2. Please ring the doorbell at the basement door and we will greet you through the intercom for social distancing.
  3. If you would like to make a donation of produce OR if you are making a large donation to the Food Pantry, please contact Valeria ahead of time at 919-929-6380 x18.
  4. If you are making a donation of any kind to the Community Kitchen, please contact Bill Culton ahead of time at 984-999-5260.
  5. We can always use paper bags with handles if you'd like to bring those with your donation.
  6. Please make sure your food donations are not expired and do not contain alcohol. 
  7. We cannot accept medications, medical supplies, or clothes.
  8. Please take used clothing items to CommunityWorx Thrift Shop (formerly PTA Thrift Shop), as residents receive vouchers for free clothing there.
