Community Market and Community Kitchen


Please bring small deliveries for the Kitchen or Market to the first floor receptionist (floor 1 by elevator, up one flight by stairs) Mon-Fri between 9a-4pm at 110 W. Main Street in Carrboro.

For larger donations, pelase access our loading dock at the rear of the building Monday-Friday between 9am-4pm. Please access the loading dock by using entrance between 201 and 203 W Weaver St. in Carrboro (between El Centro Hispano and Mosaic, formerly Provence). If you have any questions, please call 919-929-6380, x2000 ahead of drop off. Please do not leave donations outside after hours.

  1. Online food purchase with delivery to IFC
  2. Shop in-person for the items our Market and Kitchen need by downloading and/or printing our updated grocery list.
  3. To sponsor a meal (for IFC Commons or either of the shelters), please contact Lance Dixon, Community Kitchen Manager at his cell: 603.425.9226.

WE CANNOT ACCEPT:

  1. Expired food or food with alcohol
  2. Medications, medical supplies, or clothes.
  3. Please take used clothing items to CommunityWorx Thrift Shop (formerly PTA Thrift Shop), as residents receive vouchers for free clothing there.
