Community Market

IFC’s Community Market offers fresh produce, pantry staples, and hygiene items at no cost to area households.

How It Works

Community Market offers free groceries to households in Chapel Hill and Carrboro by appointment. Appointments are scheduled using the phone number below. Shoppers are able to select the items they need and prefer at no cost.

The Market relies on daily volunteer power and donations from individuals, congregations, community food drives, civic groups, grocery stores, and more. The Market also partners with Farmer Foodshare and Weaver Street Market to provide fresh, locally-grown produce.
