Planned
giving
The future strength of the Inter-Faith Council
depends on the gifts that you make today to benefit tomorrow.
Your planned gift of a bequest, life insurance policy, gift
annuity or a charitable remainder trust is an important
investment in the life of the IFC. To
discuss how you can be a part of strengthening our future
through a planned gift, please call John Dorward, Associate
Director at (919) 929-6380, Ext. 14 or finance@ifcmailbox.org.
See
our list of Essential Needs.
Food
Our
Food Pantry and Community Kitchen both collect food, and
are located in different buildings. Typically, smaller items
(i.e., 1 lb. bags of rice) go to our pantry and we put them
in grocery bags to distribute, while prepared food and larger
items (i.e., 10 lb. bags of rice) go to our Community Kitchen
for preparing meals for large numbers of people.
You can bring the items to our Food Pantry
in the Carrboro Services Building located at 110 W. Main
St., Carrboro, NC 27510 between 9am and 5pm, Monday-Friday.
Please make sure your food donations are not expired and
do not contain alcohol. If you are making a
large donation, please notify us ahead of time.
