FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

Inter-Faith Council for Social Service Announces Resignation of Executive Director, Michael Reinke

Michael Reinke has notified the Board of Directors of the Inter-Faith Council for Social Service (IFC) that after much consideration he has decided to resign his position as their Executive Director effective August 22, 2016. In his message to the board Michael said, "After my father's heart surgery and spending time with my daughters, I realized that the needs of my family were such that I should find a way to be closer to them." With best wishes to Michael, the Board of Directors of IFC accepted his resignation.

The IFC thanks Michael for his contributions to its work and future plans. With the acknowledgment that Michael has left big shoes to fill, IFC is ready for the challenge of continuing its work in our community. Michael and IFC continue to join together in support of IFC.

IFC will conduct a search for their replacement Executive Director as it continues to address the needs of the poor and marginalized in our community. IFC Director of Operations: Kristin Lavergne; Retired Executive Director: John Dorward; and the IFC Board President, Board Vice-President and Executive Committee will lead IFC forward during the search.
