IFC Community Services
PARKING INSTRUCTIONS:
Front-of-Building Parking
(Lower left marker on map):
You may park directly in front of our building.
Side Parking Lot
(Lower right marker on map):
You may park in the lot between The Clean Machine and The Framers Corner in one of the designated parking
spaces reserved for the IFC ONLY (left-hand side of the parking lot). If you park in any other spot, YOU WILL
BE TOWED--we only rent the spaces in this lot, and the parking lot owner WILL have you towed for upwards of $180.
Once you come in our front door, our volunteer receptionist will gladly provide you a visitor’s pass for
your vehicle.
To Access Weaver Street/Rear Of Building Parking
(Upper right marker on map):
From Franklin St./E. Main St., Take the right split at Armadillo Grill, which is Weaver St.
Cross Greensboro St. Turn left into the parking lot at the bright yellow “Provence” sign (203 Weaver St.).
We are the building in the back of the parking lot with the large handicap ramp. Administrative offices are
immediately off the back door entrance as you enter the building.
Weaver Street Parking/Town of Carrboro Parking

Limited parking spaces are available for IFC, tenants and visitors at the rear of our building. Additional
parking spaces are available in the Town of Carrboro parking lot located three properties up from our
building off Weaver Street (headed toward NC Crafts Gallery or the Carrboro Town Hall). Town of Carrboro
two-hour limits do not apply to IFC staff, volunteers and visitors. Permits are not needed.

From Downtown Chapel Hill/Campus:
Follow Franklin St. into Carrboro. At Armadillo Grill, take the left split which is Main St. Cross Greensboro St., Inter-Faith Council offices are on the right after Wendy’s.
From the South (Pittsboro):
Follow 15-501 N towards Chapel Hill. 15-501 will leave the current road—make sure you follow it by turning left at the light AFTER crossing Mt. Carmel Church Rd. Take the first exit, Merritt Mill/Smith Level Rd. *Turn left at the “T” and turn right onto Smith Level Rd., at the next light. Smith Level Rd. will enter Carrboro and change names to Greensboro St. TO ACCESS FRONT OF BUILDING: Turn left onto Main St. from Greensboro St. Crisis Intervention and Administrative offices will be on the right after passing Wendy’s.
From the North (Hillsborough):
Follow OLD 86 S. After crossing Homestead Rd./Dairyland Rd., turn left at the next light onto Hillsborough Rd. Hillsborough Road will eventually come to a “T”. Turn left onto Main St. TO ACCESS FRONT OF BUILDING: W. Main St. will come to another “T”. Turn left to stay on W. Main St. The building is quickly on the left, across from Club Nova Thrift Store.
From the East (Raleigh):
Follow I-40 W and take Exit 273-A (54 W). Continue for 3 miles (there will be a Harris Teeter on the left) and turn right onto 15-501 S (the second exit). Take the Merritt Mill/Smith Level Road Exit. Continue with the Pittsboro directions above.
From the East (Durham):
Follow 15-501 S. Stay on the current road, as it will turn into 54 W. Take the Merritt Mill/Smith Level Road Exit. Continue with the Pittsboro directions above at the star.
From the West (Greensboro/Burlington):
Take Exit 148 (54 E) in Graham and continue for about 22 miles. In Carrboro, take the Jones Ferry Rd. Exit, and turn left onto Jones Ferry Rd. TO ACCESS FRONT OF BUILDING: Jones Ferry Rd. changes names to W. Main St. Crisis Intervention is on the left across from Club Nova before the clock tower.
