  • Food From the Community, For the Community: Anyone who is hungry or wants to learn about hunger can eat
  • Meal Times:
    Breakfast-6:15-7am
    Lunch-11:15am-12:30pm (one hour later on Sunday)
    Dinner-6:15-7pm (one hour later on Sunday)
  • 89,042 meals served in FY 2006-2007
  • More than 500 hundred volunteers are involved
  • More than $376,000 in donated food contributed by businesses and individuals

  • Designed for greater resident participation in planning services and managing meals and food programs
  • Enhanced by community partnerships for “specialized”/“expert” services
  • 89 single women, and 78 women and children representing 29 families stayed with us in 2006-2007

  • Provide financial assistance, groceries, and clothing vouchers to individuals and families in need
  • Assist individuals with information about community resources
  • Non-Financial requests (groceries, clothing, IDs, etc.) are handled on a walk-in basis between 9am-12pm Monday-Friday, and on an appointment basis between 4pm-7pm on Tuesdays and Wednesdays
  • Financial requests (rent and utilities) are handled on an appointment basis from 1pm-4pm, Monday-Friday. Please call ahead to make an appointment
  • Conducted 3,811 interviews for food and other services between July 1, 2006 and June 30, 2007
  • Provided 9,204 bags of food and 700 Holiday Meals
  • Average employed person who uses our services makes $852 a month and works 27.5 hours a week.
