Other Volunteer Resources in the Community:

Food
Bank of Central and Eastern NC (great for groups and community
service)
United Way of
the Greater Triangle
Triangle Impact
VolunteerMatch
For UNC Students:
The Carolina Center for
Public Service listserv and website
For High School Students (Service Learning):
All volunteers
under 18 years of age must be accompanied by a parent or
guardian while on IFC premises due to safety and liability
concerns. We suggest that high school students conduct food
or personal hygiene drives, donate baked goods to the Community
Kitchen, or do other independent fundraising activities
for service learning hours. The agency will ensure that
all volunteer hours will be documented for graduation requirements.
