25th Annual RSVVP Awards

This year we are celebrating the 25th Annual RSVVP Day. An event was held yesterday to honor the following restaurants and sponsors.

Participating Restaurants for 25 years: Crook's Corner, Crossroads at the Carolina Inn, Il Palio at the Siena Hotel, Sal's Pizza, Weathervane at Southern Season and Weaver Street Market Café - Carrboro.

Presenting Sponsors for 25 Years:  97.9 FM WCHL, The Chapel Hill News and The Daily Tar Heel.

20 years:  Armadillo Grill.

15 years:  K & W Cafeteria, Linda's Bar & Grill, Spotted Dog Restaurant and Tyler's Taproom.

10 years:  Bandido's Mexican Café - Hillsborough, Brixx Wood Fired Pizza, Domino's Pizza - Banks Drive, Fiesta Grill, Monterrey Mexican Restaurant, Oishii Japanese Restaurant & Sushi Bar, Provence and Sage Café.

Irene Briggaman, RSVVP founder, was also presented with an award to honor her 25 years of service fighting hunger in the Chapel Hill-Carrboro community.
